    邹蓝天,旅美山水女画家、书法家,字蓝天婵。她大学毕业后任漯河大学教授,1986年调入河南省书画院。1996年入中国文化部、中央美院重彩画高级研究班学习,受教于中央美术学院教授蒋采萍先生、胡明哲先生。1999年入日本多摩大学,受教于上野太郎教授。2002-2006年就读于美国纽约大学。现定居于纽约市。邹蓝天在中国研习翰墨几十年,时至不惑之年,又远渡重洋,潜心研究西方美术理论,通过对东西方文化艺术的苦学、深思、精研,形成了她独特的艺术风格。邹蓝天的艺术作品已经引起艺术界,收藏界和理论界的极大兴趣和密切关注。她上个世纪90年代就是中国美术家协会会员,现任美国中华艺术协会顾问、美国纽约皇后艺术沙龙会长、全球女画家书法家联合会秘书长、全球艺术家联盟理事。其作品经常在国内外展赛中获奖,并被美术馆及个人收藏。评介文章、艺术活动被载入美国剑桥IBC国际名人录及中国书法家美术家大辞典。出版有《邹蓝天(蓝天婵)诗集》、《蓝天婵课堂教学图稿》、《邹蓝天(蓝天婵)书画作品集》等。 作品参展获奖情况:
1988年10月5日《论书诗》荣获全国书法篆刻第二届神龙大奖赛金奖。
国画作品《黄昏的忧伤》、《刨裂玄微》、《遣情》分别入选第六届、第七届、第八届全国美展。
1988年书法《道》荣获龙年首届全国颖河杯书法大奖赛授予二等奖。
1989年10月书法《赤壁怀古》荣获首届“苏东坡杯”中国诗书画大赛一等奖。
1995年5月国画《天问》荣获国际关东摩崖杯书画篆刻摄影大奖赛一等奖。
1998年12月重彩《万里江山图》荣获国际绘画(中国画类)金牌奖。
1999年国画《太行盛景》在中国美术家协会、中央美院举办的重彩画展中荣获优秀奖。
2002年2月《清秋图》在国际绘画展赛中荣获(中国画类)金鹅奖。
2008年5月在日本东京举办个人书画展。
2009年12月在美国波士顿举办个人书画展。
2011年在美国纽约现代艺术馆举办个人书画展。
2012年绘画作品在美国新泽西州荣获美国新泽西州州长颁发的金钥匙奖。

   
Lantian Zou,the United States female landscape painter and calligrapher,who styled herself as Lantian Chan.After she graduated form college,she as a Professor in Luohe University,and was transferred to the Henan Painting and Calligraphy from 2002 to 2006.Now she settles in New York City.She devoted herself to the eastern and western art theory and practice in her spare time after learning calligraphy and painting since she was just a little,and formed her own art style,she advocated that “Cleat the mind and heart to realize the Dao (the highest truth of the universe)” and “well prepared”,And she stressed that”Painting and calligraphy come from knowledge and culture,while realm from vision”.
    The unique style of her painting has caused the great interest and close attention of the art,collecting and theory fields.She was the honorary president of the Kyushu Institute of Painting and Calligraphy,the director of the China Yanhuang Culture&Research Association, the advisor of the USA China Art Association,the vice president of the United States Queens’ New York Art Salon,global female painter,calligrapher Federation Secretary-General,and Global Artists’,the secretary general of the calligraphers’ Association,the committee of the Global Artists Union.Her works after win prizes in exhibition race at home and abroad,and was collected by the art museum and private persons.Her critiques,art activities were loaded into Cambridge,USA IBC International Who’s Who and domestic calligrapher Artits’ Dictionary.And she published Lantian Zou (Lantian Chan) Poems,classroom teaching artwork of Lantian Chan,Lantian Zou(Lantian Chan)calligraphy and paintings set etc.

极富魅力的书法绘画
     

------邹蓝天的艺术创作

①中国书画在千百年的发展中始终承载着源远流长的文化脉络,体现出中华文化独特的精神底蕴、深刻内涵和物我契合、天人合一的心性追求。

    ②蓝天婵(邹蓝天)的书画艺术作品便是如此。

③收编在此书中的作品分为五个类别:其一是她的道家文人思想系列;二是她生活在异国他乡的作品,这些作品多以优美的色块来抒写她内心对景物的精神感悟;三是她抒意的爱情系列作品。是的,没有爱,就没有人类。此类作品多是作者追忆青春岁月时期美好的生活印记。第四部分选入了作者不同时期,不同内容,不同形式的画作。其中仿古山水、飞鸟作品则是作者三十年前的作品,画中跋文多是自作诗文。此作足以彰显蓝天婵青年时期对书法、绘画扎实的传统功力和她英年早成的文学天赋。第五部分是蓝天婵真、草、隶、篆、行书作品,这些作品没有造作,没有火气,没有稚嫩,而是有着极强的精神气骨——“书卷气”。读蓝天婵的书法——书法里面的大巧若拙,大璞不雕,为无为,尚自然,得天倪,不工之工,无法之法这些高古的哲学境界,美学精神在蓝天婵的书法审美追求上都充分的反映出来。

Very attractive calligraphy and painting-----the artistic creation of  Lantian Zou
①Profound cultural heritage is inherited through the development of Chinese painting and calligraphy for centuries, which fully embodies the uniqueness, connotation and closeness of nature of Chinese culture.
②These are exactly what Lan Tianchan’s paintings and calligraphies are trying to express.
③Works are thematically arranged according to five different categories: First of which are her series of Taoism ideologists. Second are her works finished abroad which were used to express her spiritual gnosis by bits of graceful color lumps. Third are her works about love in rhetoric. It is true that the future of human beings will not be without love. Works in this category are mostly memories of her salad days. Part Four mainly consists of works from different stages of her live and different contents and styles, majority of those being an imitation of ancient landscape and animal paintings 30 years ago along with the postscripts written within the paintings. These works are enough to demonstrate the solid drawing skills as well as her aptitude in literature in her early days. The final part of the book is mainly a showcase presenting her calligraphy skills in different writing ways. You can find no affectation, anxiety or immaturity but a strong sense of scholar's style in these works. Reading between the lines of her works, perfect manifestation of great wisdom, inactivity, non-methodology, aesthetism are all reflected in her pursue of beauty in calligraphy.


①说到底,艺术是用形象创造展现人的精神气度、修养和境界的。写字就是写人,画画就是画人,在书画的创造和书画规律的把握运用中,所显现的是书画家的物质能力和精神修养。这些能力和综合修养展示的越充分,越完美,越鲜明,越有特点,艺术性就越高,就越是美的,书法和绘画的美,说到底就是符合规律的书画形象的创造中,展现出来的作者的生命意识、物质能力、精神修养的美。
②蓝天婵的书画作品的美不是没有源、本的,当我们走进她的书屋画室,两人多高的宣纸一排一排平立;一架架的好书一排一排的树立,此情此景,足见她几十年在书法绘画事业上所倾注的财力、心力和苦力!
③最让我们怦然心动的当是她的道家文人思想作品,潘天寿说:“艺术以境界美为极致。”对的,艺术的高下终在境界,这境界蓝天婵达到了。驻足在她的画前,让人感受的是天、地、日、月、星、辰、人及宇宙万物之大界,精微、博大、隽永、深远。
④欣赏蓝天婵的艺术,不仅要求观者有较高的艺术和哲学修养,还要有一个宁静的清纯的心灵,方可体悟她的思想境界,从而才能在她的精神世界中遨游。
⑤蓝天婵是一位真正生活在喧嚣街市而遗世逃名的隐者;是一位天地永恒之美的体悟者和表现者;是触物观照、为道日损、守道以约的中国笔墨艺术的思想者和实践者。从她的作品中,我们读到了一个情动于中、技进于道、人羽飞升、不谐於俗的蓝天婵;读到了一个悟道明理、精谨练达、崇高简净、精神独绝的蓝天婵;读到了一个奇人、奇想、奇妙、奇作的蓝天婵;读到了一个深邃、静穆、典雅、清纯的蓝天婵。
⑥常言道:“没悟性不能感物,无胸怀不能立志,无学识不能取舍,缺功夫笔墨无力,无胆识不能求险。”这悟性、胸怀、学养、功夫和胆识,我们认为蓝天婵全然具备了。
⑦所以说,蓝天婵的书法绘画艺术向我们展示了中国的水墨艺术的真、善、美、神、妙、奇的大境界。
⑧就此而言,编者出版了此书是做了件极有益,谨望阅者仁者见仁,智者见智,各有所思,各
有所获。

      ①After all, art is created from the images to show the spirit of tolerance, self-cultivation, and the spiritaul state of people. Writing exactly shows the writer, and so does painting. The art reveals the painter's material and spiritual cultivation during the creation of painting and calligraphy and the grasp of the law of art. The more fully these capabilities and integrated cultivation show , the more perfect and features, higher artistic conception and more beauty the picture shows. The beauty of the calligraphy and painting is created from images, which complies with the laws,and the beauty is just the combination of the author's life consciousness, physical ability, the beauty of the spiritual cultivation.
②The beauty of calligraphy and paintings of the Lian Tianchan is not without source. When we walk into her studio, what leap into our eyes is the two-person tall rice paper lying in rows and shelfs of books standing in lines.All of these serve to show her devotion and dedication to calligraphy painting career for decates, not only in material way, but also in emotional way with effort and heart.
③What is at the heartstrings is the Taoist in her literature. Pan Tianshou said: " The perfection of art is the spiritual state" Lian Tianchan did it. Stopping in front of her painting, people can feel heaven, earth, day, moon, plenty of  stars, and enormous universe of all things, which is subtle, broad and long-lasting and far-reaching.
When Appreciating the art of Lian Tianchan,viewers shoul have not only a high artistic and philosophical accomplishment, but also a quiet pure hearts.If we do so,we can realize and understand her spirit, and appreciate her hought.
④Lan tianchan is a true recluse who chooses to escape from the hustle and bustle of world and conceales her identity and understand and perform the eternal beauty in the world.
⑤And also she is the thinker and practitioners in traditional and subtle ink painting.From her work, we read of the Lan Tainchan discribing with love,progressing with practise,drawing with harmony, can read a sensible, refined and sophisticated , noble abd simple,and spirit-independent woman;,can read an amazing writer, strange thought and wonderful works, and can read thought-deep, serene, elegance, purity of him.
⑥As the saying goes: " one cannot sense the object without perception ,cannot be determined without mind, cannot make a choice without knowledge, cannot write without effort,and cannot seek a risk without courage." Perception, mind, knowledge, effort and courage, we believe, Chan completely possess.
⑦So, the art of calligraphy and painting of Lian Tianchan shows us the real state of true, good, beauty, wonder and in ink painting
⑧In this regard, the editor published in the book,which is benificial conduct,and I hope every reader can has his own thought, and get his specific gain.

文采炳焕、不懈追求

①艺术的可贵就在于不同。不类同才能给我们别样的艺术享受。

②作为画家,不同于别人就足够不易了。不重复自己则更为艰难。翻开古今中外画册画史,不落他人窠臼自创一格、却一生不能冲出自己的小块田地者比比皆是。而蓝天却能在她的作品集里的多个系派里做到画法、技法、想法一变再变,从内容到形式,从形式到思想,切实画出写出自己与自己的不同;这一切如果没有奈苦、坚毅、探索、追求的胆气,是万难办不到的。

③画是如此,让人更难以想象的是她的书法造诣,纵观她的书作,无论是真、草、隶、篆或者是甲骨、金文,观之令人赏心悦目;书作千变万化,神采飞扬,格调高古,超凡典雅,清新离俗。

④当今画坛,芸芸众生不计其数。细观画面题款著跋,多多不甚入目。中国画讲究诗书画印的好为好画,试想,人画了一幅画,上面不会写字,不会写诗,没有印伩,又没有美的色块,那欣赏画的什么呢?画可以少笔多笔,复而盖丑,书则精严到一笔放的不是地方则字丑必现,深谙书道者皆知。一手好的毛笔字,单靠“天才”是不能解决的,这需要千辛万苦,千遍万遍的手疼臂疼再臂疼。可以想见,蓝天今天这极高的艺术成就,她饱尝了多少个寒窗之苦,多少次手疼臂痛的“折磨”啊!

 ⑤我敬慕蓝天,就是敬慕她的书艺、画艺,文采炳焕,不懈追求的人格品貌。

⑥相信蓝天一定会“飞”的更远、更高!

Literary talented, tireless pursuit.
①Artistic value lies in the difference. Differences give us unique enjoyment.
②As a painter, it is not so easy to be different from others. Well, it is more difficult not to repeat one. Turning the art history album, there are a large amount of artists who can create his own style and be innovative, however most of them cannot break the limit and be confined into the only one field. And the blue sky is able to keep changes in her works of the multiple systems. The changes arrange from form, style, and content. She does draw pictures which are all different. All these things would be impossible if she had no persistence, exploration, and the spirit of pursuing.
③Her painting is so wonderful; moreover her calligraphy is more awesome beyond imagination. Looking through her calligraphy, any kind is an enjoyment, including cursive, regular script, official script of Han Dynasty, seal character, inscription in bones etc. her works are in high taste, elegant and fresh.
④Today there are countless painters, and so are the paintings. However, the Chinese paintings focus on Poem calligraphy and painting India. So Poem calligraphy and painting India organic synthesis into picture essential constituent. Just image, if people draw pictures without handwriting and poetry, there will be nothing to appreciate. Painting can be less or more, so it can cover the flaws. But the calligraphy is very strict to extremity that is to say, if there is more or less, it will be a failure. Calligraphers all know this rule. Everybody cannot be a talent in Chinese brush writing, which need be practiced again and again. During the period, people will suffer great hardships. So the art achievements that the blue shy has got are not so easy. She is bound to torture the bitterness, such as hand ache and arm ache.
⑤I admire Blue sky, regarding to her calligraphic art, drawing art, talented literary, and the spirit of tireless pursuing.
      ⑥Believe Blue sky will ‘fly’ higher, further.

①如果你让我说出古今世界上画家的名字,我可以给你道几百个小时;如果你问我所有艺术作品的风格类别,我可以把东方、西方、世界美术史播放给你听,艺术千百种,但能让我目击到立刻欢欣悦心的不多。而一眼看到蓝天婵的作品时,仿佛触击电流,顿然让我怦然心动。画中的白衣高士,三五成群,或云中吟唱,或荷塘赏月,或梅下踏雪,或风雨观天,简简单单几个人,简简单单黑与白,素雅的让人心醉。传统的中国思想,现代得让人神往。站在她的画前,让人流连忘返,不愿离去。


②认识蓝天婵是她在纽约曼哈顿举办个人画展。观看她的作品的好,让我三生有幸。她的画就像她本人一样有深度,有温度。你说我认识蓝天婵是巧合,我说,我感谢上帝安排了这场相遇。

Thanks God for letting me meet Lan Tianchan
①If people want me to mention the name of the ancient and modern painters all over the world, I can list the countless names. If people ask me the category of different art style, I can tell you the eastern, western art history. There are thousands of art styles but little can strike me at first sight. However upon seeing the work of Lan Tianchan, they suddenly let me palpitate with excitement like the torch current. In her pictures, the wise men, in groups of three or four, sing, appreciate the lotus at night, thread on snow under the plum, view the weather under rain or snow. So simple the several people is, so simple the white and black is, it makes me be fascinated. The traditional Chinese thought still appeal in modern times. Standing in front of her paintings, make people lingers and unwilling to leave.
②I meet Lan Tianchan at her art exhibition in Manhattan, New York. It is my honor to watch her masterpiece. Her paintings are just like herself, which is deep in thought and mild about human thought. It could be coincidence for me. Thanks God for the splendid meeting.

①认识蓝天,是因为去看她的道家人文思想画展,当时在东京展出,差点因别的事没去成,假如没去成,一定是我终生的遗憾!


②关上蓝天的画,好不让人仰慕!几个潇潇洒洒的白衣仙人,或在林中,或在旷野,或在海上,或在空中;不知是唐初四杰的聚会,还是扬州八怪的同行,不知是文人会雅士,还是隐士对仙翁,好不让天下书生羡慕!读她的画,我心有戚戚,心生向往,喜不自禁,悦不停止。

③蓝天的画浸透出唐宋文人画的雅致气息,画中的气息、思想、境界非同一般。蓝天的画风格调,我翻遍中外画史找不到她的抄仿,这对于一个艺术家,她所作的苦心探索,很有想法的原创,是多么的艰难,多么的可贵啊!

I really like the painting of blue sky
①After seeing the exhibition of the Taoist humanistic ideas of Lantian,I know her.I almost miss the exhibition in Tokyo because of some other things. I believe it will become my whole life’s regret if it were happened.
②It is enjoyable to appreciating the drawings of Lantian. In her drawing , several elegant immortals in white are in the forests, on the wilderness, on the sea, or in the air. Maybe they are four outstanding poets of early tang's on gathering, or Yang Zhou eight eccentric artists’ on meeting. It must be admired by all the scholars and I feel totally delightful after seeing her drawing.
③We can feel the refined flavor of scholars of the Tang and the Song’s dynasty from the painting of Lantian. You can find the extraordinay thoughts in her drawings.I can’t find any of the copys of her style in Chinese and foregion drawing history. How valuable and hard it is to have such exploring for an artist!

灵魂之作,不谐于俗

①蓝天姐(又名蓝天婵)祖籍山东邹县,父辈时移居三国曹魏古都许昌。她大学毕业分配至郑州工作,自一九九八年后定居纽约至今。姐自幼勤奋好学,貌美聪慧,四五岁始,涉习书绘事,;十二岁起便喜游名山大川;三十五岁后至今走遍地球一百多个国家。我与姐的每一次晤面,仿佛感觉又活了一回。她那诗一般优美的语言及极富逻辑性的真知卓见常常让我彻夜难眠。


②二十年前,姐就给我常谈起古希腊时苏格拉迪、柏拉图、亚里士多德,古印度的释迦牟尼,以色列的犹太先知们以及中国的孔、孟、老子、庄子、荀子、韩非子、鬼谷子等先哲圣贤们的经典论著。姐的博学多才,姐的心灵无疆,所以成就了她的作品有博思大界、超凡脱俗的独自面貌。有人看了姐的作品说她是用灵魂来搞艺术的。我认为此评价是对的。当今用灵魂为艺术的人多见吗?蓝天姐正当年富力强之际,相信她最终必定在书画艺术上独立山头。

Work of soul, different from common

①Lan Tianjie(also called Lan Tianchan),whose ancestral home is Zou county, Shandong province, which was moved to Xuchang(the capital of Cao and Wei of Three Kingdoms) worked in Zheng Zhou when she had graduated, settled down in New York since the year of 1998. The beautiful girl studied hard when she was little. She has started drawing since her four or five years old, and adopted herself in traveling since her twelve, she had been to more than 100 countries after her 35 years old till now. Every time we met and talk, I felt as if to live my life again. I always stay up all the night thinking about her graceful expressions and outstanding opinions.
②Twenty years ago, Jie always talked to me the things about the ancient Greek such as Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Sakyamuni from ancient India, Jewish prophets from Israel and the classic works of Confucius ,Menci, Laozi, Zhuangzi, Xunzi, Hanfei, Guigu of China. Wisdom and pure mind contributes to her eruditely and extraordinary refined works. Some people said that she draws with her soul, and I agree with them. Are there any people who still treat arts by his heart and soul nowadays? Lan Tianjie is on her great age , and I believe in her that she will reach the peak of the arts in the end.

①原创性,大境界,是判定一个书画家艺术水平高下的必备标准。


②艺术创作是一种思想产物,没有思想的人,绝不会画出有境界,有格调,有独特艺术形式的作品。而蓝天的画如《剖裂玄微,昭廓心境》、《云山得意》、《化境》、《心养》、《赏荷图》、《群贤毕至,澄怀观道》等等,都有极其深刻的文化内涵。深刻的内涵还包括形式笔墨等。再如蓝天所画的“异国风情系列”极具时代风貌,读来赏心悦目。蓝天生活在异国多年,看得出她吸收了东西方绘画之长,又经过她取舍,改造而自成一家。驻足在蓝天的画前,顿觉“浩浩乎如凭御泄风而不知其所止,飘飘乎如遗世独立羽化而登仙”,非世间芸芸画奴们所能及也!故让我感慨系之而记之。

Seeing the pictures of blue sky

①Originality and big taste are the necessary standaards of judging the art level of a calligraphy.
②Art creation is a kind of ideological product. So if the artist has no thought, he cannot draw pictures with state, style and unique art form. And the blue sky’s painting all have very profound cultural connotation such as ‘Cutting XuanWei crack and understanding the profile mood’, ‘being satisfactory of clound and mountain’, ‘the reminder’, ‘the heart keeping’, ‘picture to appreciate lotus’, ‘sages coming and bringing philosiphical benefits’ etc. And the profound connotation includs form and words. Moreover, the blue sky`s painting of the "exotically amorous feelings series" extremely has the ages charming and it reads to feel a feast of eyes. The blue sky lives in the exotic country for many years, so we can easily see that she absorbed the strength of eastern and western painting. And after the trade-offs, she made them be union in one style. Stop in front of the painting of blue sky, feeling "iAs the wind by the relief is and I do not know the check, waving like they put on the isolated and fairy". That is the painting that the painting slavery in the world cannot compare with. So they let me sign the emotions and record.

 

     邹蓝天书画作品集后记

①我小时候,常听母亲讲,她的父亲很棒,能书善画,诗文写的也好。乡里乡亲有个什么事去找他,而他总是热心帮忙,人缘特别好。母亲说三个舅舅有两个在国外留学,家里富,有近三百倾地。母亲长像好,人也聪明,她说舅舅小时候读书到三遍,自己听后就会背诵。是的,现在她还能背小时候舅舅读的书。可是母亲不识字,因为姥爷不让女孩子出门。直到十八岁那年母亲嫁到父亲家里,过去人讲门当户对,我的爷爷邹景顺比我姥爷还能干,父亲家里的土地以及大街的门面房比母亲嫁前的家富有多啦。1950年后,我母亲说家里一下子什么都没了。
②我很不幸,小时候家里穷的吃了上顿没下顿,母亲说我骨瘦如柴,连悲哭的声音都不能,因为没有力气。我虽然弱小,但涂鸦起画来却没完没了,有用不完的劲儿。我记事很早,四五岁时常跑到伯父家里看他画画写毛笔字,伯父是教师,常常教我书法绘画并送我笔和颜色。

③十二岁那年,偶然从伯父那里接触到陈鼓应的《庄子今注今译》,尽管读来吃力,但对庄子的“以为天下沉浊,不可与庄语”,以及庄子《山木》篇对自己的贫困认识——“真正的仁人志士不怕生活上的贫困,怕的是精神上的潦倒”却给我以支撑,温暖了我苍凉的心。这一年的暑期,争得父母的企许,卖掉了我们全家唯一最昂贵的财产,一辆七成新的自行车,携款西去,渐行渐远,庄子成为我心中隐形的翅膀,随着他去“独与天地精神往来”。


④此去西游,没有想过走“玄奘西天取经”的路径,而是性情所致,仰慕庄周的心志,给自己一些华丽豪迈的梦想,让生命摆脱贫寒,摆脱“有用”事功,化作鲲鹏,哪怕苍穹有千难万险,畅意一回天地遨游,完成对自己贫困而又短暂生命的另一种成全。
⑤途中有时乘车,有时徒步,无论车上、徒步,不时画些苍山、小人、小景;一张又一张,激励怦荡着我小小的心灵;一步又一步,用小小的躯体丈量过攀登西岳这条千古励志之路;一脚又一脚,丈量过长江黄河的发源地巴颜喀拉山的缺氧况味。真真切切体会到遗世独立、羽化登仙的欣慰!
Postscript

①When I was young, my mom often told me that her father was great and good at writing painting and poetry. The village folks seeked him for help, and he was always willing to help. So he had a good popularity. Mother said that two of my three uncles studied abroad and enjoyed a rich family which held nearly three hundred hectares of land. Mother is good-looking and smart. She said that she could recite after my uncle read three times. Yes, now she can also recite the books uncle learnt during his childhood. But mother couldn't read, because my grandpa didn't let girls go out. Until the age of 18 my mother mattied my father. In the past people stressed a perfect match. My grandfather Zou jingshun was more capible than my maternal grandfather. Father was much richer than the family she was in before with the land of family and the facade room in the street. After the year of 1950 ,mother said that the family suddenly lost everything.
②Unfortunately ,my family was so poor that we did not know where our next meal comes. Mom said I was gaunt, even couldn`t had the voice of crying because there is no strength. Although I was vulnerable, my strength on Graffiti was endless. I remembered events early and often ran to uncle`s home watching him priaticing the calligraphy and painting when I was four or five years old. My uncle was a teacher who often taught me painting and calligraphy and sent me bush and pigment.
③When I was twelve years old, I came accidientally from my uncle into contact with the book present note and translation of Zhuangzi written by Chen guying. It was hard to understand, but the thought of Zhuangzi “ People who indulge in the material desire cannot talk with him” and cognition about his poverty in the mountain and timber ----“The people with lofty ideals are not afraid of life on poverty but what they are afraid is spiritual down” supported me and warmed my desolate heart. That summer holiday I sold the only most expensive property of our home, a seventy percent new bicycle. With the money I went to the west, and zhuangzi became the invisible wings in my heart. I went like him to "communicate alone with the sprite of heaven and earth".
④This west travel, I did not think of going with the path of "the jurney to the west of Xuanzang”, but But caused by temperament. I admired the Zhuangzhou`s will that gave ourselves some gorgeously heroic dream, let the life go out of the poverty, got rid of "useful" complex, and then became the kunpeng. Even if there were numerous difficulties and fangers in the sky, I would like to swim between the sky and earth, finishing another help to our short and poor life.
⑤We alternated the cars and foot during the way. No matter by car or hiking, I still drew some mountains, people and sceneries, one painting after another, swinging with my little incentive heart; Step by step, with little body I measured the eternally spiritual Mountain Hua road; Foot after foot, I measured the sense oxygen of birthplace of the Yangtze riverv BaYanKaLa mountain. I was personally on the sence and experienced the pleasure of Isolated on feather fairy!

①日月如梭,转眼间来到了1977年,邓小平领导的中国改革开放,大学制度也由推荐改为考试。我有幸考入美院,毕业后国家分配到漯河大学执教。当时该校的创始人杨清振先生首任校长,他博学多思、求真务实。极富有人格魅力。在校时常聆听他的教诲,难忘的是,他谈“儒学”授我以使命,教我在社会人格中自我实现,以身践行。谈“道学”授我以羽翼,教我在自然人格中自我超越,让心遨游远方。
②再后来,时间到了1985年,我有幸获得全国第二届神龙大奖赛的金奖,其后,调入河南省书画院,常常聆听陈天然,李自强老师的教诲,以及谢冰毅,王宏剑,李云亭等同道的指教。1999年入文化部重彩画高级研究班学习,受教于中央美术学院教授蒋采萍先生、胡明哲先生,日本东京多摩美术大学教授上野太郎先生及国内外诸多名家。2002年——2006年入美国纽约大学,潜心研究西方艺术理论(此间涵盖艺术批评,艺术历史和艺术哲学)。
③我特有兴趣普桑对古典的寻求,温克尔曼的新古典意念,柏拉图、亚里士多德对美的理念,达文西、杜勒所建立的绘画条例,狄德罗对同时代者艺术的描绘,康德、黑格尔至尼采、海德格的德国审美哲学,德拉克洛瓦、波特莱尔之鼓励浪漫精神,马克思主义的艺术观,心理学者佛洛伊德、拉岗之自心里学角度探究艺术家,以至近代弗兰卡斯托、沙皮罗、达米施、葛林伯格等人对艺术的新观点。
④在西方生活的十多年里,不仅让我亲近、享受了异国的风土人情及文化,而且还绘制了大量的异国风景系列作品。
⑤常言道,人在异乡倍思亲。此间,由于和亲人离多聚少,虽不至于“西风,古道,瘦马,断肠人在天涯”,但在夜深人静时往往泪水绵绵,情丝不断,由此画了为数不少的爱系作品。
⑥为了留记我的心励路程,对二十多岁时画的仿古山水以及飞鸟、人物、动物由编辑也少量的录入了书中。下面谈谈书法作品,谈及书法,历史上,喜爱、陶醉、迷恋书法的人比比皆是。毛泽东,乾隆,宋徽宗,武则天,唐太宗等帝王们无不花大心力练习书法。李世民习字手肿臂疼,日理万机时还念念不忘王羲之书法妙不可言,居然苦心为其作《传论》。大文学家、史学家欧阳修自谓“自己一生喜爱做的事很多,时至晚年百厌不为,唯愈久益深而爱者,书也”。


①Sun and the moon went so fast, and it came to the year 1977. Deng xiaoping lead the China's reforming and opening and the university system was also transformed from the recommendation to the test. It was fortunate to be admitted to artistic academy and was distributed to teach in Luohe University. At that time, the foundation of the university Mr.Yang qingzhen held the position of president. He learnt and thought more and pragmatic enjoying a good popularity. In the school I often listened to his teachings. It was unforgettable that he talked about "Confucianism" giving me mission, teaching me self realization in social personality and practicing in body and that talked about "the doctrine of Daoism" awarding me the wings, teaching me improve myself in the natural personality and letting my heart roaming far away.
②Later, the year 1985, I was lucky enough to win the golden medal as the second in the  national Shenlong championship. Then, I was transferred to a Calligraphy and Painting institution of Henan province and often listened to instruction of Mr. Chen Tianran, Mr. Li Zijiang together with the teaching of like-minded Mr. XieBingYi, Mr. Wang HongJian and Mr. Li Yunjing. In 1999, I studied at the ministry of culture heavy-colored painting seminar, educated by professor Jiang Caiping, Mr. Hu Mingzhe of central academy of fine arts and professor Ueno tailong of Tama Art University in Tokyo, Japan and also many famous celebrity at home and abroad. During 2002-2006, I was concentrated on the study of the western art theory in the New York university (covering art criticism, art history and art philosophy).
③I had special interests in Poussin`s exploration about old fashion, new classical ideas of Winkelmann, idea of beauty by Plato and Aristotle, a painting regulations of Leonardo and Abdul, the contemporary art Diderot described, the German aesthetic philosophy from Kant and Hegel to Nietzsche and Heidegger, the encouragement of spiritual romance by Della Crowe watts and potter Lyle, the marxist artistic perception, the thought of Psychologist Freud and Lacan that explore artists from psychological aspect, even the modern neodoxy of art of Franca Stowe, Shapiro, Damisch, and Greenbergwas green etc.
④The ten years` western life not only let me be close to and enjoy the local conditions and customs of the exotic culture, but also made a lot of series of exotic scenery works.
⑤As the saying goes, In foreign country more than ever we thought of our dear relatives faraway. During that time, we're together much less than we're apart. Although it did not reach the degree of "west wind, ancient road, thin horse along with tears of someone at the edge of the world”, but my tears often fell at night. Due to constant affection silk, I drew a lot of works about love.
⑥In order to record my heart excitation journey, the painting of archaize landscape, people, animals and birds drawn when I was 20 yeas old were also recorded a small amount in my book. Next let me talk about calligraphy works. Referring to the calligraphy, people loved, was intoxicated with and madly clung to calligraphy in history can be found everywhere. The kings like Mao zedong, Qian Long, Emperor Huizong of Song, Empress Wu and Emperor Taizong of Tang etc. flowered big heart on practicing calligraphy. Li shi-mm`s hand was swollen and arm hurt caused by practicing penmanship. With all the work required to run a country, he still remembered Wang xizhi`s incredibly wonderful calligraphy and unexpectedly went all out to make the " biography theory" for him. Great writers and historians Ou Yangxiu called himself that "I myself love to do a lot things, but they all annoy me when I was old. The only deep joy is the book".


①可书法是苦命的,她比起音乐,绘画的路径狭窄得多,但书法又是幸运的,她展现在黑白之间的天地是如此的广阔。记得一位西方哲人说过,如果说世界的艺术在东方,东方的艺术就在中国,中国的艺术就是书法;如果说真书是顶皇冠,那么草书就是这皇冠上的明珠!的确,原来只求以形迹表达音义的字,既能很好地为实用服务的同时,千百年来成了举世无双唯中国所独有的特殊艺术,这看似简易之事,其实,书法是一种精神内涵丰富,文化品位很高,极具强大魅力的人间艺术。为此,几十年来,无论风华月夜,无论酷暑严寒,因为爱我从无间断过对她的苦心研练、执着追求!在此我要特别感谢我的启蒙老师启功先生,先生对我说,习字要先从晋字始,其后再涉入别体。几十年对甲骨、金文、大篆、小篆、隶书、汉简、魏碑、章草、唐楷、狂草等等多有涉猎,我尤其钟情于章草那结体的韵美及格调之典雅。


②唉,生命有限,流光苦短,几十个春秋以来,虽然苦行僧般毕业于美院,并入政府画院参加国家级画展、书展,多次获奖再多次国内外办个展以及被多家新闻媒体专题采访、报导等等,名堂搞尽……!最终选择美利坚合众国,定居纽约,慢慢等老!!人生如梦,过眼云烟啊!

④蓝天  合掌

①However the calligraphy was hard, she was much more narrow when compared to the path of music and painting. Meanwhile, the calligraphy was also lucky because she showed the heaven and earth so vast between the black and white. I remembered the words of a western philosopher, if the world`s art was in the east, then the oriental art was in China and the  Chinese art was the calligraphy;If ZhenShu is the crown, then the cursive script was the pearl in the crown! Indeed, the word using appearance to express phonetic significance before not only could oeffer the practical services, but also became the world`s unique features of China's special art in thousands years. This looked easy. In fact, the calligraphy is a kind of human art with abundant spirit connotation, high cultural grade and the most powerful charming. Therefore, for decades, no matter the moonlit night or extremely hot or cold weather, I never stop my hammering away at her and persistant pursuit on her because of love. Here I would like to thank my enlightening teacher Mr. Qi Gong. He said to me, practicing penmanship should start with Jin word, then involved in other scripts. Several decades, I was invovled in oracle bone inscriptions, Bronze inscription, large seal script, small seal script, clerical script, bamboo slips, wei rubbings, zhang cao, Tangkai, unconstrained and many other parts. While I especially loved the beautiful struction and the i elegant style of Zhangcao.
②Well, life is limited and time is short. Dozens of springs and autumns, although I was graduated from beautiful courtyard like an ascetic and entered the painting academy for government taking part in the  exhibition, book fair and winning many prizes in foreign office. I was also interviewed by several news media. The tricks has down……! Finally, I chose the USA, settled in New York and wait becoming old slowly. The life like dream, temporary!!!!!
③Here, I would like to show my special thanks to: henan art press, to: managers, Mr. Zhang Yuyang and Mr.Zou Zhenghong who offered the fundings for the book, to: all the ladies and gentel men around the world who bought my works and the institutions, exhibition hall, museum and club house, to: my teachers predecessors, counterparts and schoolmates who fostered, influenced and helped me together with my students, to: my parents, brother, elder sister, my son and daughter-in-law who made efforts for me, to: all of my family, my friends... !

品读蓝天

①与蓝天大姐相识两载,相见几次,相知如故,可谓神交!
②承蒙大姐厚爱,专程来觅古居欣赏其大作,嘱托观感,吾惶恐之至。吾虽浅识,但大姐之作给我的震撼是难以忘怀的。那是一种什么样的感受呢?
③心灵之洗涤,精神之释放,世外之超脱!
④身居于闹市之中,逍遥于天地之间。大姐就如她的名字一样圣洁,脱离世间凡俗,值于云海间,伴我笑苍生,豪爽之气令人过目不忘!
⑤一幅幅作品似一曲曲埙乐旷阔远古,不知不觉间令观者跨越了时空,回到那个遥远的时代,忘却烦扰事,神游苍茫间!于日月宇宙间轮回,独与天地精神之往来!置身悬崖间,品诗论道,我本无颜面,苍生是吾心!

⑥笑看世事繁华,我自神游蓝天!女儿情怀,丈夫气概!积墨众峰处,悠悠是我心!

⑦时而乘物游心,时而情意绵绵,笔墨乃心灵之轨迹,精神之再现。豪放之处见细腻,神游之心溢笔端!我喜欢大姐之神,之气,之志,之概,之心! 庄子曰:人生虚己以游世,其孰能害之?人生在世,不计名利,只是游世,不亦乐乎?观蓝天大姐之作,恍如世事之外,没有纷杂烦嚣,有的是精神物外的愉悦!

⑧纵观蓝天大姐之作,从古到今,从传统到现代,从笔墨到色块,从绘画到书法无不精到,可见其潜心数载之心血,恢宏之气,感人肺腑!

⑨“至人无己,神人无功,圣人无名。”蓝天大姐周游全球,不慕功名利禄,潜心于蓝天白云之上,可敬,可叹!

Taste the blue sky

①I have known sister blue sky for two years and met several times as bosom friend, just like God deliver!
②Thanks to her great kindness, I come all the way here just to visit the old residence and enjoy her works, I greatly fear to her entrust impressions. Although my knowledge is shallow, the elder sister works give me unforgettable shock. what kind of feeling is it?
③It is the catharsis of minds, the release of spirit and the beyond of the world.
④Living in a busy street, I am free and unfettered between the heaven and earth. Sister is as holy as her name, separating from the world, living between sea and cloud, staying with my people smile,  the gracious ambition is unforgettable!
⑤Like one after another Xun musics, works series are wide and ancient, unconsciously make viewers across the space and time and then back to that distant times,you can forget bother things and travel between boundless! In the cycle of the universe, alone and the spirit of the heaven and earth with! Between the cliffs, you can taste the poems and talk about the Dao , I have no face but the whole is my heart!
⑥I travel around the blue sky by myself through smiling and seeing the prosperious things! Daughers sensation and husband’s spirit! Living in all the peak places, long is in my heart!
⑦Sometimes traveling around by heart, sometimes say more by feelings, words are the path of the heart and reproduction of the spirit. The exquisite can be seen in the bold and unconstrained place, the wondering heart can be overflown from the top of the pen.I like the verve, the spirit, the mettle and  the heart of the elder sister! Chuang tzu said“traveling the world in your kenotic attitude , who can harm you? Living in the world life, you  should exclud the fame and fortune, just to travel the world , isn`t it happy? Viewing the great works of sister blue sky, as if I am outside of the world, there in no distracting and annoying, just for the cheerful spirit!
⑧Throughout her great works, it is very precise and penetrating from past to present, from tradition to modern, from ink to color piece and from painting to calligraphy, you can visible the efforts with several years great concentration, the grand ambition is very touching!
⑨“To people without himself, the God without the fame and the Saint without anonimity.” Sister blue sky travels around the world, not for fame and fortune but for researching on the blue sky with great concentration. How honorable and regrettable!

人性的回归
    

 谢冰毅(河南省书画院院长)

 

和蓝天结识已有20多年了,亲眼目睹了她的发展历程,她是一个多才多艺的书画家。年轻时候她的作品充满着激情,峥嵘的线条间有着一种大江东去,一发不可遏止的豪情。线条和墨块之间的纠缠、争斗、揖让之中充满了艺术家的灵感。那时候的她,追求的是一种人生的激情和艺术的豪迈。
近些年来,随着岁月的增加她的作品又发生了根本性的变化,尤其是出国以后,常年在国外的生活拓展了她的视野,壮阔了她的心胸使她能够站在世界的高度观察、思考。
西方艺术的震撼和东方艺术的蕴藉使她逐渐领悟到艺术的真谛,进而对东方文化和哲学有了深刻的反思,在她的作品之中充满了东方人对天、地、人的认识,一种对大自然的回归。
这些追求体现在这些新作之中,西方艺术的理念、现代艺术的熏陶和后现代艺术的震撼都在这些作品里面得到了展现。所以说她的作品里面既有西方的形式,又有着东方人对田园生活的回归;既有大自然的千变万化,又抒发了她个人对东方哲学的反思。既有着佛家哲学的禅思,又有着中国人对“道”的追问。什么是“道”,庄子说道无处不在。何为佛?佛祖说无忧是佛。庄子说:“水静犹明,而况精神”?水在什么时候能照到天地万物呢?只有在一种情况下,就是水安静的时候。参破世界至理,需要的是理性,需要的是清明,需要的是心静,需要的是对天、地、人、万物的明思和彻悟。
所以说她的作品是自己心灵的写照,也是这么多年来她的精神在宇宙上的幻化,近些年来,她的书法作品在豪放之余又有了新的追求,作品由繁到简,由博转约,由激情转为淡定,由豪放转为自然。这也是她多年的生活经历所感悟到的,使她现在的作品含蓄、内敛、耐品耐读。我们期望她在艺术的道路上走的更远、更高,我们期望她有更多更新的作品问世。

  The Return of human nature

I have known Lantian,who is versatile calligrapher,for over 20 years and witnessed the development process of her life.When she was young,her works is full of passion,which has the mighty river flows eastward and irresistible emotion between the towering lines.Entanglement and between the conflict are full of artistic inspiration between the lines and ink.Then it was at that time that she pursue the life of passion and heroic art.
As time goes by,her works has changed fundamentally in recent years.Especially after her going abroad,the life abroad has expanded her horizon and opened her mind,which made her be able to sand at the height of world to observe and think about the world.
The shock of the Western art the connotation of oriental art make her realize the essence of art gradually,and thus a profound reflection on Oriental culture and philosophy,her work is full of the cognition of Oriental heaven,earth and human,which results in the return of nature.
These pursuits reflected among these new works,The concept of Western art,the influence of modern art and the shock of postmodern art in these works had been demonstrated.So her works has both the western form and return of the Asians on the pastoral life,both the ever-changing nature and the expression of her personal reflection on Eastern philosophy and both the Buddhist philosophy of Zen  and a questioning of the Chinese people on the Taoism.
So her works is the portrayal of her mind and the metamorphosis of her spirit in the universe for so many years.In recent years,her calligraphy works is uninhibited and also has some new pursuit,Her works turns from complicated to simple,from plentiful to little,from passionate to calm,from bold to the natural.This is what she have realized because of her life experiences of many years,now her works are subtle ,reserved and resistant to read.We look forward to the advent of her more and newer works,and expect ht road of her art go further and longer.

雍容大度,璞而不雕

上世纪八十年代中期,蓝天女史参与了筹建河南省书画院的工作,那时我还在省书协工作。河南书坛女子书家为数不多,当时蓝天就以卓然独立的书法风格崛起于中原书坛。蓝天的创作均达到了真力弥满、酣畅淋漓的状态。
 我调入河南省书画院后,蓝天已远渡重洋,到了太平洋彼岸发展。后来河南书法迅猛发展,但始终为远去一员女将而扼腕太息。“皇天不负苦人心”,近年来,蓝天终于把她的留学成果公诸于世,她的绘画,诗文和书法均有新的跨越。说到书法,这种跨越,乃是对传统的回归。她的书法不似先前的张扬,而是更内敛了。工稳中蕴含着女性书法的一种娇美。这绝非临临字帖所能获得,而是通过砺练和修养感悟所得。我曾多次出国,常常有一种感觉,出国人员比在国内还爱国。这其中和华夏魂大有关系。蓝天在文化艺术上更是如此,这从她的书画中可以深深地感受到这一点。
蓝天身在异国,由于科技和交流的便利,她一点也不逊于在国内获得的讯息,有时还强于在国内。像纽约大都会艺术博物馆,仅中国书画和文献极为丰富。作为一位中国书画家面对这些展品会作何感想,它将会越发震撼你的心灵、触动你的艺术神经。这些滋养一点也不会比在国内来得少。身处异国的她,想必会更加珍爱中华文化传统,事实上,她也做到了。
蓝天书法恪守法度,从明清人的行草书中汲取养分,从汉魏书法中得其气象,雍容大度、不激不励而风规自远。由于她有绘画等综合素养的优势,从她的作品中可以窥见其创新的端倪,相信假以时日,必有大获。

Generous,unaffected without carving

In the mid-1980s,Lantian lady official participated in the foundation of Painting and Calligraphy Institute of Henan Province,when I still worked in Calligraphy Association of the Plains calligraphy circles by her outstanding and independent style.The creation of Lantian has been in such a state where it is filled with power and hearty.
When I was transferred to the Painting and Calligraphy Institute of Henan Province,Lantian had traveled across oceans and developed in the Pacific Rim.Later,the development of Henan Calligraphy sprang up,but people always sighed with regret because a female general had gone.”God helps bitter heart”.In recent years,the lantian finally announced her achievements of study abroad ;her painting,poetry and calligraphy,this progress is the regression to the tradition.
Her calligraphy is less publicized than before,but more restrained.Fine brushwork contains the charming of female calligraphy .This can t be acquire not only by coping copybooks,but though the grind of training and cultivation of sentiment.I have been abroad many times,I often have feeling.People who go abroad are more patriotic than those at home.It has a great relationship with the soul of China.Blue her painting and calligraphy.
Though Lantian stays in a foreign country,she obtains the information that is not less than that at home,even sometimes more,because of the convenience of technology and communication,For example,in the Metropolitan Art Museum of New York,only Chinese calligraphy and literature are very plentiful.As a Chinese calligraphy,will you be impressed by these exhibits?Maybe It will be increasingly shocking your heart and touch your nerves of art.These nourishments will not be less than that at home.Living in a foreign country,she will cherish Chinese traditional culture more ,presumably.In fact,she also makes it.
